Starting a weight loss journey Day 1
I'm beginning a journey tonight that should improve my life greatly. It's a weight loss journey. I've tried before and failed to lose weight, but I believe that I can do it this time. Right now, I'm around 255lb's. I'm 5'9" and according to Google, I should weigh around 155. That is 100lb's to lose. I can't imagine what I would look like if I weighed 155lb's. I can't imagine what it would feel like to run a mile without stopping for a breather, or down the road for that matter. My spirit is high about this and I'm excited. I know some days I won't want to exercise or eat healthy, but this whole thing is very important to me and I know I should persevere no matter what. My plan is pretty basic and also pretty vague. Eat healthy and exercise. We've all heard that before. Those are the two biggest parts of losing weight, or so they say. Also drink plenty of water. After yesterday, I'm averaging 5 bottles a day which is around 84oz. There's a great video of a guy who started chubby and took a picture of himself for 84 days and at the end he had a six-pac which I'll post after this. I would love to have a slide show like that for myself, so I'm going to start taking pictures of myself every day and blogging about my journey. I'm not going to post pictures until I've finished. Let's see where this goes!
